A Scribe Between
Stars & Silks
Jacqueline Westwoods, who affectionately goes by Jackie, is an author of romantic high fantasy and sci-fi romance. A proud feminist and an unapologetic romanticist, she describes herself as a "chaotic child of the starlight universe." Born in Ireland and raised in the US, she later studied and worked in Hong Kong before making her home in Tokyo.
The Muse
Jacqueline holds a Bachelor's degree in Literature and a Master's degree in History — an academic foundation that allows her to expertly plot royal court intrigues on a light-year scale. Deeply inspired by Alexandre Dumas, père, she crafts noblebright universes where the cosmos is bright, the human heart is dark, and only love can conquer all. She writes by the philosophy that "the true nobility is within the vanguards who bring lights into the universe."
The Journey
She is currently writing her passion project, the Starlight Sonata trilogy — a space opera science fantasy series with musical metaphors drawn from String Theory woven through its world-building. Often described as a romantic Dune flavored with a space-opera Game of Thrones, the series follows Evelina de Miranor, Markgräfin of the Empire, as she navigates suspicious marriage pacts, alien-fae ex-lovers, and multi-POV court intrigues that could ignite the entire galaxy.

Starlight Sonata
"In Jacqueline's stories, the universe is bright, the human heart is dark, and while fate ultimately decides everything, only love can conquer all. A single choice can burn species to ashes — or save an empire."
